I am one of most of the Bangkokians who is a big fan of Hua Hin beach! Since I learn how to swim – parents took us to Hua Hin during vacations – Hau Hin. Is like my 2nd home even my mom and dad’s…
It makes me feel like I know Hua Hin so well – just like every Thais do. If you are living in Bangkok and you meet our friends or any xxx walking in Hua Hin Market more often than meet them in Bangkok. Hua Hin Market has been popular among visitors because they are full of life. Here, you can find contemporary art and hand made stuff – fresh sea food – bars… ….
Another favorite stop that I have to go every morning when visit Hua Hin is an old fishing port, here you can find fresh seafood caught from the sea or even ask the fisherman wife to grill them for you. This old fishing port really makes me think of childhood who loved to do night fishing in a Fisher Man boat I found that it was really cool and something to show off to friend when I was a kid.

Hua Hin has been a renowned "Palace on the Beach", has been a royal retreat since the 1920's….So, there are several historical places to visit – most of them remarks architecture of the town in the old days. The Maruekatayawan Palace is one of the oldest and most charming palace in Thailand - was constructed by His Majesty King Vajiravudh (Rama VI) in 1923. The architectural design of the raised-floor wooden palace, with its three sections facing the sea --- very romantic! Hua Hin Train Station is also another ‘Must See’ attraction built since King Rama the 5th that turn Hua Hin into the first a cluster of a royal, high-society residences.

As an armature diver – I found Talu Island located in Bangsaphan, Prachuapkhirikhan 2 hours from Hua Hin as a heaven for me. Its shallow diving spot makes this island one of the most beautiful of a rich marine life.
